HOTS-coverHave you listened to Holding on to Sound yet? Seriously! If you haven’t, then hit Command+T or whatever and go to IndiePit.com or Myspace.com/hotsmusic to listen to this band! You will not be disappointed.
Songs of Freedom,  released on Geykido Comet Records, is a punch in the mouth punk sound with a swift kick of reggae.
The album opens with “War”, that just keeps you wanting more. If not from the crashing guitar, thumping bass or insane drum blasts, but from the lyrics are just as powerful and in your face as the beat that goes along with them.
Other stand out tracks include “Outsider” and “Creatures of Habit” (especially the beginning, its incredible). Also, “Bogus” which brings me back to 1987 and the heyday of Op Ivy.
Holding on to Sound shouldn’t be taken lately, they aren’t just some band. I mean, with a song that includes the lyric “My son you will see, Armageddon will come from you and me. Can you feel the flame burning at your feet? All we have left is unity.” You have to admit they are just some run of the mill punk rock band. They have something to say, and I am pretty sure they are ready and willing for you to hear it.

Dude, I listened, I liked!! The remind me of sublime but punkier, and not as smooth or finished. I can hear like a surf rock vibe in the guitar and I love that stuff. Nice find and Thanks.
